Things To Do Before You Update Your Tecno C9

  - Ensure your device isn't rooted! If rooted, kindly unroot and then update. ( rooted devices will be bricked when updated)

  - Ensure you have enough data for this update ( You don't want to stuck halfway with a bricked device)

  - You can backup your current system OS to prevent regrets after the new update. Bugs might be in the newer update, and it's quite healthy to have a contingency plan

  - Ensure you have an almost full battery capacity, at least 90% ( low battery might result to a shutdown causing your device to be hard or soft bricked)


Definition:
Bricked Device: Simply put, your device doesn't boot to the normal homescreen or desktop with dock icons. It loops at the boot screen with the device logo and doesn't go further.
This happen when something tampers with the system files.

To get this update, simply follow these few steps 

  - Go to your settings
  - then, select "System update"
  - then, online update

If the system update is currently available for your device you'll see "Download and Install"

  - Click "Download and Install"

Then wait a bit, you might want to grab a snack or take a nap or even dust off your shelves, but if you've a fast and reliable internet connection, then you've got no problem to waiting much longer.

  - Then, after the new update completion, your device will reboot to it's new form
