Nokia 8 Sirocco Is Getting A Share Of The Android Pie


HMD Global after securing the flagship Android One model, one would expect that they will be the first inline for faster upgrades when it's the latest Android versions, but surely that didn't work out until now.


The Nokia 8 Sirocco, HMD Global's 8th Smartphone installment would eventually get a taste of the Android Pie after watching other brands have the first bite.

The upgrade can be done via OTA. Size for the file would be around 1.3 Gigabytes, do ensure you have enough internet data before you upgrade, to avoid your device from getting bricked.

What To Do Before An Upgrade

How-To Upgrade the Nokia 8 Sirocco...

1. Make you back up your documents before upgrading to the new Android version

2. Make sure your smartphone is not rooted to avoid a brick/reloading bootscreen device.

3. Make sure that you have an almost full charge before the update. Preferably charge your phone while upgrading.

4.  Make sure you have enough internet data before the update.

5.  Make sure you follow this instructions accordingly
