Linux 5 Is Most Likely To Be Available In March
Kernel enthusiasts, Ethical hackers & Tweak lovers, brace up because Linux 5 is arriving in March.
Linux founder, Linus Torvalds initially didn't want to pull this off but coming back to the present day, he stated that the jump to Linux 5.0 doesn’t necessary mean anything and that he simply ran out of fingers to count.
The wait started after the release of version 4.17 and then v4.20 came along, now users are clamouring for a v5, I'd say - what a jump!
This numbering change doesn't necessarily entail that the new update will come in anything out of the blue. Though there will be some notable changes, these geeks shouldn't expect a total overhaul.
According to Linus, "Make up your own reason for why it’s 5.0" then "Go test. Kick the tires. Be the first kid on your block running a 5.0 pre-release kernel.” save March as you're upgrade date.
