Do Not Use These Passwords In 2019 Or Remain Old School
Passwords are meant to be like nuts, They should be kind of tough and not that easy to crack or even break.
Well most people don't give a second thought about how tough their passwords should be when it comes to online security.
In spite of warnings from Security Professionals and crack down of these passwords, It seems that some users are paying no attention to these security tips. They are also not upgrading their passwords strength to very complicated ones.
SplashData, a company developing password managers SplashID, made a study of more than 5 million password leaks from latest breaches and saw that many of the frequently used passwords on the list are very common in the earlier reports of bad passwords, examples were the famous "123456" & "abc123".
Personally, my take on this is that most people expect others to think that their passwords should be very complicated and then go ahead to use very simple passwords. Also, some internet users have hard time remembering complicated combinations of numbers and alphabets, so they just stick to the basic decimals everyone can remember, but it's bad practice.

Tips On How To Use Stronger Passwords?
1. Avoid using serially arranged figures or characters like "123456" or "abcdef"
2. Avoid using Date of Birth as passwords, they can be used by someone who knows you.
3. Avoid using your other names or of people you like. Someone might make Brilliant guesses and get you cracked. I've tried it once and it worked(Though, I don't do that anymore)
4. Use alphabet (Uppercase & lowercase), special characters and numbers combo. E.g "Had$+4ff"
5. Have 2 or 3 patterns for your passwords. An example might be an Uppercase for the first word or Initial "CASEclosed" or "CaseClosed; another example might also be numbers first, then alphabets " 1andOnly", etc.
6. Don't write your passwords in open Diaries, our Pops and Moms are kinda guilty of this. Try using mnemonics or better still, get a secret Diary.
Note: Try not to use the same passwords in all your accounts and make changes to them often.
