4 Ways To Keep Your Computer Safe From Unprotected Apps

Most of what we can do today like shopping, banking, schooling, entertainment can predominantly be done online with our computers.
The internet has reduced banks long queues, transportation to banks/schools for payment/enquiries, I mean
they came with the most relaxing and fulfilling way to do so.

The people of NOW,  the tech savvies, the tech lovers and tech learners like our pops and moms have become trustworthy towards these Internet gearing platforms. Little do some of them know that their identities can be stolen and sold, or could be even used to cost them money.

There are probably countless OS out in the market. Android, Windows for PC & Phone, Apple's Mac & Iphone IOS, Ubuntu (Linux), Debian,etc. I wouldn't vouch for any of these system to be safer than the  other, rather keeping an up to date OS in any of these mentioned OS is quite a guarantee for safety. Having the latest Secuway.y OS update on your computer/device comes to solves a lot of vulnerabilities you might have had to encounter using an outdated system.


An instance... Would be a Windows 7 system, it has a lot of vulnerabilities considering it to be an old OS. Using the kind of system would risk one's information to internet thieves, let me more polite, internet robbers.

Let me crack it down a bit..
The importance of this update is that, at times when OS programs are created; in the process of using it, flaws or security loopholes are uncovered and the best way to close those holes are to release Security updates to protect the end users from harm.

2.  Run An Antivirus

Malware, Spyware, Trojan horse, you name it. Couple of hijackers trying to steal people's info through social engineering, Websites, apps and emails. Trust me, you don't wanna go online without an antivirus, the internet is a lone space.

In case you're wondering if there are any free antivirus you could try, yeah they're a few good ones you could try without a slight cost.

 3. Run A Firewall

A firewall is a program that literally protects, quarantine one's computer/device from posed/potential threats while on the internet. It keeps all the 'yamayama' virus out of sight.

Most systems have Firewall apps on default, you can visit your settings to set it up manually.

 4.  Run A Virtual Clean Up

Sometimes you have get your library books stacked up properly, lawn cut, dishes washed, laundry done, etc. Same goes for our computers/devices. It should be regularly taken care of.

We do this to our computers because over time, the systems gets loaded with junks and chunks, important and unwanted files like web caches and cookies in hidden folders to the users but not the computer or professional sniffers apps. So the best bet is using custom registry cleaners to wipe off these over logged data from prying eyes.

They're manual ways of cleaning your system but automated is better.
