How To Receive Mail Alerts On Your Mobile Phone

This is a very quick and easy DIY tip to follow. In a situation where you only receive mail alerts on your PC/MAC and you have been trying to receive alerts on your mobile phone but don't know how to go about it.



Note:
The device used for this DIY tutorial is an Android.
You can also use the same steps on Iphone and other OS for Mobile phones.
Examples were done using only Gmail & Yahoo mail services, you can use the same steps in other mails like live or hotmail

Steps On How to Receive Gmail Alerts on Phone

• Open the Gmail app on your phone
• Go to setting

• Choose your account

• Tap or Switch the Sync Gmail toggle or checkbox to ON

Steps On How To Recieve Yahoo Mail Alerts On Phone

• Open your Yahoo mail app
• Tap the menu icon

• Go to settings

• Turn on Notifications

Ensure it's enabled for all mails

The Simple trick is that for any mail service application, ensure you turn on the synchronization or notification feature to enable your phone to receive emails alerts.
