How to Partition your Hard Drive

 Partitioning your Hard Drive

Go to  Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management  >  Storage > Disk Management

Click the Drive you want to Partition e.g C:// 

Right Click > Select Shrink Volume

it will calculate a required space for  you > Click Shrink

it will produce a black shaded partition unallocated > Right Click > Select new simple Volume >
Specify new volume size (click next) > Assign drive letter or Path (choose from a to z) >
Format Partition

Enter New Volume Name e.g my second drive and click next then Finish.
