New Year? WhatsApp Will No Longer Support These Devices
WhatsApp Messenger will no longer support your conventional J2ME phones.
Popularly called Java phones in this part of the world, the once popularized Nokia s40 (series 40) will no longer support WhatsApp messenger.
Users will unable to create newer accounts or even upgrade the app, but can still use their WhatsApp messenger until it stops.
The support for Nokia series 40 ended on New Year's Eve. Sadly, users who intend to continue using WhatsApp will have to migrate to Smartphones or choose other chat alternatives. I'm guessing that 2go messenger still supports Nokia Java phone models.
If you have a minimal budget you can opt for the Nokia 8110 running Kai OS, it supports WhatsApp and is also equipped with 4G LTE technology.
