Google Takes Down Two Popular Apps Guilty Of Click Fraud

It's no popular news about how main stream  and even trusted Android apps with millions of downloads on Google Play Store are caught misleading users with fraudulent Ad clicks and information theft.

This time, Google spots yet another app on its platform guilty of Ads bait. Asides malicious apps and Adware programs, The Google Play Store has had an history of apps stealing user's data and some apps even turning users  devices into crypto-mining instruments, along with many other malicious acts.

CM File Manager and Kika Keyboard Both had in them codes that could trick users into clicking on Ads or even leaking data without their knowledge.

Though Cheetah Mobile has come out to the denial of its knowledge concerning the click bait. They would have to do more than just denying the allegations pegged on them.

For users to see Kika Keyboard and CM File Manager on Google Play Store once again, the duo would have to present their apps free of all malicious  codes to Google for reinstatement.

I bet we users have to be on the lookout for apps with malicious behaviours, Google can't definitely do this tracking down on their own. That's why we're geeks in the first place!
