Infinix Rolls Out Android 9 Pie for Note 5 Users, Now Available Via OTA




Infinix finally rolls out Android 9 for Note 5 users. Prior to the release, i had made a post about Infinix in search of beta users. 

Now that the Android PIE is out for Infinix Note 5 users, i hope the Beta testers are set to chop it all off. See how to go about the update below.


The update is available via OTA, - Over The Air; meaning you can download via Infinix system update app on your device.

To access this, go to settings >> about phone >> system update
The information below is very important, please don't skip

How To Upgrade Infinix Note 5 To Android 9 (Pie)

- First check for your build number.

- Go to Settings>> About phone(at bottom of the page) >>Build number

Instructs...

1. Ensure you remember to back up your personal files/documents before you upgrade to the new operating system.

2. Ensure your device isn't rooted to avoid a brick/reloading boot screen device

3. Ensure you're own an almost at full charge, say 90%. Ensure your battery isn't faulty

4.  Ensure you have enough data, i mean extra data. You should avoid using minimal data, ensure you have more than enough data to perform this upgrade to avoid your Smartphone from being bricked.

5. Ensure you follow the instructions accordingly
