Facebook To Roll Out An Unsend Message Feature

If you were wondering how to retract messages on Facebook, wonder no more because Facebook is  testing the " Unsend feature" for iOS and Android Smartphones.

Before we get too excited, just like Gmail, there will be a certain time frame to unsend sent messages, say 30 secs or less; don't mind me lol 😁

So literally Facebook had announced that the "unsend feature" would be available to a few countries before they try out other countries.

The first countries to be getting this feature are Bolivia, Colombia, Lithuania, and Poland, others would get the update as the unsend feature is released in batches.

 Why Is This Important?

Before now, users were unable retract messages on Facebook direct messaging.
This would help in cases where persons who wrongfully sent messages to contacts or friends who recalled such messages.

How Does Facebook's Unsend Feature Work?

  - This feature works like WhatsApp's "delete for everyone"

  - You send a message, you find there's a mistake; you can then
Unsend the message with a 5 - 10 minutes supposed timeframe

- You select the message you intend to retract, and then Unsend by clicking "Remove for Everyone"

And that's all.
